Coy got to paint a pumpkin today at Preschool!
This is how he felt about taking a picture with it!

Little stinker!

Then he got to go stalk chopping with The Farmer!

pretty excited!

Farming Buddies!

The Farmer texted me this not even five minutes later!! haha!! He was a tired little dude!

Kubota ride to take The Farmer back to the field!

Now off to help Merritt with his homework for the week! Hope yall had a great Tuesday!

Baker Brothers!

I made this adorable jack-o-lantern cake and last night after supper
I surprised them and let them frost it...and eat it!!
Then I was awarded the best mom evar award! hehe!

Funfetti cake mix...they loved this part!!

Merritt is telling McCoy not to lick his knife because of germs!! haha!

They insisted it have a green stem, so we used sprinkles!

Halloween Costumes!!

Another year yall!! I made it another year with coordinating costumes!! They really couldn't decide what they wanted to be (I was leaning toward Bigfoot and a Bigfoot hunter! ha!) then Merritt finally decided on a Pirate because he wanted to have a sword, I tried really hard to have McCoy be a Parrot, but he was having no part of that! At one point they both were going to be pirates but with different costumes, then McCoy saw the crocodile costume and HAD TO HAVE IT! Done and Done!! Woohoo!

Coy's costume (link I got it for $16!) just came with the shirt and hood part, so I had no clue what we were going to do for pants or sleeves?!? Then I lucked up and found the crocodile print footie pajamas on Amazon (link) that worked perfectly and he got a new pair of pjs out of the deal!! I made some little crocodile feet to hide his shoes and called it a day! I think he turned out so cute!

Merritt's costume (link got his for $20, guess they start to raise prices the closer to Halloween! I suppose it pays to be a crazy Mom and order costumes in August! bahaha!) came with everything but the eye patch, hook, and sword...which of course we already had in our dress up stuff, so that worked great! He loves it and can't wait for Halloween to be over so he can wear it everyday!! For the past couple of years, I have put their costumes in the dress up box and they love getting to wear them all year round! The Knight and Dragon from last year have gotten lots of love! hehe!

Happy Halloween!!

This Weekend!!

We did lots of fun Halloween-y things this weekend!

Mummy Dogs for supper Friday night!

Pumpkin Peep Brownies for dessert!

Ummmm...so this happened!! hehe!
When McCoy and I were at Walmart, I let him pick out the boys a little tree for their rooms, of course he chose the obnoxious fiber optic color changing one! ha! And of course I let the boys put them up right away!! Last year, I scored them some adorable ornaments on after Christmas clearance, so I had told them they could have trees in their room this year! Merritt completely freaked out when he saw it and almost cried!! Yall, he is so my child!! We love us some Christmas!! Even though I let them have them now, we will try to wait a while to decorate them!! :)

They came in saying they were "robber bandits!" haha!
Might need to update the dress up box!

We painted two sets of pumpkins on Saturday!

First were these big ones that we turned into dinosaurs!

Then they painted these small little white pumpkins!

such little artists! :)

The big ones finally dried and we got to work making them into dinosaurs!

Soo cute!

This would be a total Pinterest Fail! ha!

I was trying to make these! But I was too lazy to make the Bisquick topping and used a biscuit instead, which I couldn't cut into jack-o-lanterns, so I just used a pumpkin cookie cutter instead! They ended up tasting GREAT, but looked so bad!! haha!

I used bat cookie cutter for the ones for The Farmer and I, haha! At least the boys thought is was so fun to eat out of their own "cup" and McCoy loved helping me use the cookie cutters!
So we'll call it a win! :)

Thank Goodness it's Friday!! We are ready for the weekend!
Nothing planned, and that sounds perfect!!

McCoy had Story Time this morning! He loves going to the Library!

Cousin Lydia was there too!

Then we had to make a Walmart run and of course he begged to ride the horse!

We are having a bonfire for our MOPS Steering Team next week
and of course I am going crazy with the details! Can't wait!! :)
